Custom Badge Holders

Custom Badge Holders? No problem. Check out this sweet combo of printed lanyard, custom 4 color matte/gloss finish fold-over insert shaped like an iPhone, and a custom size & printed badge holder with zip lock pocket on back for your stash. We get jazzed working on these type projects. How about you?

Note: The insert looks small in the pocket because the badge holder is sized to allow an actual iPhone to be inserted when the software app is used at the SXSW 2010 event.

Half Card Holder

As the year winds down we are hard at work on catalog updates with easy-to-use pricing. There are several new accessories that we developed this year that will be part of our 2009 offerings. We'll be showing a few of them to you in the next several weeks.

One new product is a hard plastic vertical or horizontal half card holder. Both models securely hold a 30 mil credit card size ID. The clear plastic allows for viewing card, but the smooth front also allows for a custom imprint. The horizontal model is designed to allow the user to swipe the card through most magnetic stripe or barcode readers without removing the card from the holder.

As usual, samples are FREE.

Hospital to require IDs, driver’s license information for night visitors

Visitors to Greenville Memorial Hospital will be required to have an identification badge to see ailing friends and relatives at night, beginning Wednesday, as part of a plan to keep unwanted people out.

Under the FAST-PASS program, visitors to the main hospital from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. must have the badge, said security director Shawn Reilly. Both visitors and patients in the emergency room will be required to have the badge at any time, he said.

The $15,000 system isn’t the result of a specific incident, he said, but part of an ongoing process to enhance security. (more here)

We say: It's great to see a security team acting before there is an incident! Too often good security is tabled to save a few dollars until there is a major problem.

More on SkimSafe

Our new SkimSafe anti-skimming badge holders were well received at the ASIS exhibits this week. Both current models are simple, elegant, and effective. They are already FIPS201 approved.

Many government officials and defense contractors are well aware of the recent NASA document. Our designs avoid any similar problem.

Please visit our new SkimSafe web site for information and sample requests.
